But still, the figure remains/persists/endures, their gaze haunted/heavy/fixed on the horizon, hoping for a glimpse of dawn/light/release. A desperate/futile/heartbreaking struggle against the darkness/silence/emptiness.
Trapped in a Cycle of Fatigue
